Full Description

Departure from Marrakech is by vehicle at around 9 a.m. The ride will last 90 minutes and take you south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges.
Every Saturday, Asni has a weekly market, which is a thrilling experience! We will next proceed to Imlil (1,740m), located in the higher-level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains, a main trailhead with streams and paths spreading out in all directions. We will leave our vehicle in the village to enjoy a glass of mint tea before embarking on your 2 or 3-hour trek, depending on your preferences.
Your guide will drive you south to Waterfalls and then to Armed, a Berber settlement at 1,843 metres. Our walk will include a visit to Armed, a community located in the Assif Ait Mizane Valley. It’s a stunning experience that you shouldn’t miss. This area was erected house by house atop a vast moraine spur, overlooking historic irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn and vegetables and bordered by walnut trees. The journey then continues for another hour. After lunch in a family home, you’ll return down the other side of the valley to Imlil and then Marrakech.
